Performance data
There are at least four sources of data to inform teams about how well the school is performing, and improvement goals are developed in light of such data. Each of the brief overviews below have a link to more detail and for a copy of a summarised document, please follow this link.
Student academic achievement
Summative assessment informs a school about its performance as much as that of students. Assessment results need to be collated into a common format for easy reference.
Systems & procedures
Enrolment trends and causes of student accidents are examples of data that indicate school performance.
The perception of stakeholders
The opinion of parents, teachers and students about school performance strongly informs improvement goals. Opinion is gathered through interviews and written surveys.
Demography
Demographic profiles help identify community strengths, challenges and expertise.
